At the High, Westover is responsible for developing strategic initiatives and partnerships to deepen audience engagement, advance scholarship, and tackle urgent issues and topics through programming that engages Atlanta’s communities. Westover curates the High’s children’s picture book exhibition series, moderates public conversations, and in 2024 founded the High Museum Institute for Teaching with Art, an annual, weeklong professional development program for art museum educators.

Safra Center for Ethics Westover’s research focuses on practical ethics, including negotiating conflict and navigating forgiveness, and he has taught graduate courses at CUNY Baruch and Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Westover earned a masters in religion from Claremont School of Theology and a PhD in education and ethics from Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

Previously, Westover was the Keith Haring Director of Education and Public Engagement at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York City. Earlier roles included educational posts at J.
